I've been listening to their podcast with interest! I found the one on aging particularly interesting. I've started to introduce kefir when I can, and I'm sure I'll be on the fermented foods soon too. I saw Kimberley Wilson has a new book out too so going to read that! x

I haven't listened to the aging one so must bookmark that for my next dog walk. And (she says whispering) I confess, I never did finish Kimberley's first book. A classic example of 'Tsundoku' - you should see my stash next to the bed.

Excellent summary Sue. I too have been on the Zoe journey, but had started trying to eat for my microbiome some time before. So Zoe has honed it - and thrown up surprises. More cheese (like you), less porridge here. The effect of porridge on my blood sugar was quite a bitter pill to accept, I can tell you. But like your spuds, I’m absolutely fine without it. I’ve walked away from porridge. We’ve uncoupled on good terms.

I did Zoe last June and I feel much more like me now. What I eat really suits me. I’m lighter and happier - and not in the slightest deprived. My diet now is naturally 95% for my microbes in a very informed (and delicious ) way, and the other 5% is fine too.

Highly recommended.

Isn't it amazing that we don't feel deprived and I'm very rarely hungry. Also not kipping in the afternoons is helpful too! Shocking what a croissant does to me - it set the glucose alarm off for sugars going too high which was a shock. But yes, lighter, brighter etc. And now I'm cutting back on the wine too which should help even more ... ooops x
